Photographer groups complain about NPS photo rules
PDN has an excellent article detailing the latest round in this recurring battle over what constitutes a “professional” photo shoot in a National Park.

Ranking committee member Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) challenged the journalists on why they opposed paying greater fees than the general public.
"By God, you pay $15,000 for a camera and yet you object over a $200 fee that gives you carte blanche?" he said to Overman. "You must be part Scotch."
Steve Scott, chairman of the Professional Outdoor Media Association, said under the proposed rules [Ansel] Adams might have been charged $250 for every day he spent in Yosemite.
